Plot of the Film
The film Jai Bhim tells the story of Senggeni and Rajakannu, a couple that belongs to the Irular tribe. When Rajakannu got convicted by the police, he was picked up & was then taken to the police station but he never returns back. Senggeni is his spouse who then knocks the door of an advocate Chandru in order to seek justice for her husband.

Synopisis
A pregnant woman from a primitive tribal community, searches desperately for her husband, who is missing from police custody. A High Court advocate rises in support to find her husband and seek justice for them.
The film has been based on a true incident where a tribal woman knocks on the doors of the Madras high court to know the whereabouts of her husband who got arrested on charges of theft & later goes missing from police custody. It is a story of hope since you see that tribal woman Sengeni in her most vulnerable state who stands up to the most powerful authorities of the State.
